Surprise! Employers are using AI to interview you One-in-five employers in the US and the U.K. now use generative AI (genAI) tools to interview candidates, according to the results of a TestGorilla survey of 1,084 organizations in the two countries. TestGorilla, an Amsterdam-based pre-employment testing platform company, found that these kinds of hiring tools are no longer experimental, they are embedded in everyday HR and hiring operations. Twenty-one percent of organizations in the US and 20% of those in the UK use genAI to conduct at least initial interviews with prospective hires, TestGorilla's State of Skills-Based Hiring 2025 report showed.
