SUMMER FASHION

Feel-Good Swimsuit Picks For Every Body Type

As a curvy-athletic girl who fluctuates between a size 4 and a size 10 depending on the year (and let's be honest, the season), I know how magical it feels when you find a swimsuit that hugs you in the right places and gives you that damn, I look good energy. Swimsuit shopping can feel intimidating, especially when it seems like everything is made for one body type. But there's a suit out there that works for your shape and your vibe!

First, you just need to figure out your body type. Then scroll down for styles that'll flatter you best (with direct links, because no one has time to aimlessly browse for 3 hours).

Step 1: Know your body type

Use this quick breakdown to guide you:

  • Curvy or Hourglass: You've got a defined waist with hips and bust that are fairly balanced.

  • Athletic or Straight: Less defined waist, shoulders and hips are about the same width. Think long and lean.

  • Pear-Shaped: Your hips are wider than your bust. You may carry more weight in your thighs or butt.

  • Apple-Shaped: You carry weight around your midsection, with slimmer legs and arms.

  • Full Bust: You need real support up top—halter triangles aren't cutting it.

  • Petite: You're 5'4" and under, so proportions matter.

Step 2: Shop for your type

For Curvy / Hourglass Bodies

Try:
High-waisted bikinis or belted one-pieces that define your waist and offer support.
Why it works: Tummy control + defined waist = chef's kiss.
Shop it:

For Athletic / Straight Shapes

Try:
Suits with cutouts, bold prints, or ruching to create dimension and curves.
Why it works: Creates the illusion of curves and adds visual interest.
Shop it:

For Pear-Shaped Bodies

Try:
Off-the-shoulder or ruffled tops to balance out wider hips. Pair with solid-colored high-rise bottoms.
Why it works: Draws the eye upward and flatters your shape without squeezing your hips.
Shop it:

For Apple-Shaped Bodies

Try:
Plunging V-necks or ruched one-pieces that elongate the torso and smooth the midsection.
Why it works: Ruching hides the tummy and the neckline draws attention upward.
Shop it:

For Full Busts

Try:
Suits with underwire, wide straps, or molded cups that actually hold you up.
Why it works: They'll support the girls without compromising on style.
Shop it:

For Petite Frames

Try:
High-cut legs and low-rise bottoms to elongate your shape. Avoid super-busy prints that can overwhelm.
Why it works: The high cut makes your legs look longer and adds some sass.
Shop it:

Once you know what styles flatter your shape and make you feel good, shopping becomes way more fun. Happy swimsuit shopping!

HELP DESK TOOL

Minimalist illustration of two women sitting at desks with laptops, wearing headsets. One is typing and the other is gesturing while speaking, suggesting a customer service or call center setting. The background is light gray with faint outlines of office decor.

Help Desks Don't Have to Suck. Here's Proof.

Support shouldn't feel like a black hole. Whether it's a customer stuck in checkout or a teammate who can't log in (again), delays cost trust and time.

That's where modern help desks come in. Not just ticket collectors. Efficiency machines. And with tools like Tidio, Zoho Desk, Zendesk, and ManageEngine, you can finally handle support like it's 2025, not 2005.

Tidio gives you real-time chat and smart automation, so you answer common questions before they hit your queue.

Zoho Desk routes tickets like a pro, tracks SLAs, and keeps agents laser-focused.

Zendesk brings scale, with omnichannel support and AI that surfaces answers before users even finish typing.

ManageEngine is your go-to for internal IT—handling assets, outages, and every "my laptop won't start" before it snowballs.

Here's how to make them sing:

  • Automate the basics. Set rules for ticket routing, FAQs, and low-hanging fruit.

  • Build a knowledge base. If it's asked more than once, write it down.

  • Track what matters. Response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction should guide the tweaks.

Help desks work best when they work quietly, keeping things moving in the background while your team focuses on actual problems, not busywork.

So if your support system feels clunky, outdated, or straight-up ignored…it's time.

Your team deserves better. Your users do too.

STAFF PICKS

A "Read, Watch, Listen" recommendation graphic. "Read" features the book The Art of Letting Go by Nick Trenton with a red knot on the cover. "Watch" shows cheerleaders in blue uniforms lying in a circle on a football field. "Listen" displays a close-up of a woman with tousled blond hair and an expressive face. The background is a bold blue grid.

πŸ“š Read: The Art of Letting Go by Nick Trenton

A helpful, no-fluff guide to releasing emotional baggage and overthinking. If you're trying to quiet your mind and finally move forward, this one's a strong companion on that journey.

πŸ“Ί Watch: America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (S2)

Back for another round, this docuseries follows the highs, lows, and kickline drama of the world's most iconic cheer squad. Season 2 digs deeper, showcasing the dancers' fight for higher pay and fair treatment, while raising questions about the objectification of women, feminism, and the value we place on female performance and beauty in American culture.

🎧 Listen: Leave Me Alone by Reneé Rapp

An anthem for anyone reclaiming their space. Equal parts defiant, raw, and ridiculously catchy. Turn it up when you're done explaining yourself.
